Iulian Mihalache is an International Relations graduate with a keen interest in EU foreign and energy policy, the EU’s eastern and southern neighbourhoods and the geopolitics of the Eurasian region. After finishing Webster University Vienna with Academic Honors, he carried out a Master of Science in Peace and Conflict Studies at Uppsala University in Sweden, specialising in causes of war and conflict resolution theories.
Iulian also works as Program Officer with the Public Policy Department at the Aspen Institute Romania. Previously, he carried out traineeships at the Employers' Group of the European Economic and Social Committee, the European Union Delegation to the OSCE in Vienna and the Permanent Mission of Romania to the International Organizations in Vienna.
