Power Relations

As the world rapidly evolves, understanding the shifting dynamics of international relations is crucial. The decisions and actions of nations today will shape the global landscape for years to come. Through our annual flagship project, we aim to monitor, analyze, and assess the political, economic, and security actions of states in 2025.

This comprehensive project will rank all 195 countries based on their global influence, policies, and outcomes throughout the year. We will evaluate key geopolitical events that define the trajectory of nations, taking into account factors such as economic performance, military engagements, diplomatic strategies, climate change policies, technological advancements, and international cooperation or conflict.

Key areas of focus will include:

  • U.S.-China Relations: The growing tensions and competition for global dominance, with the ongoing trade war, military standoff, and economic rivalry playing a key role.
  • Middle East Shifts: The changing dynamics in Syria, Iraq, and the broader region as Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Israel redefine their roles in global geopolitics.
  • Energy Transition: How countries respond to the global energy crisis, including the shift to renewable energy sources, economic impact, and international partnerships.
  • Global Security Landscape: The evolving nature of threats, from nuclear disarmament talks to rising cyber-attacks and global terrorism.
  • International Institutions: The role of the UN, NATO, the EU, and other multilateral organizations in fostering cooperation or exacerbating division.

Through detailed analysis and expert evaluation, we will identify which nations have excelled in advancing their interests on the global stage and which have struggled to adapt to the shifting geopolitical environment.

Stay tuned as we bring you the most comprehensive ranking of countries based on their geopolitical impact in 2025, offering crucial insights into the future of international politics.
